Shawl for a blue prom dress?

So, prom is coming up. I have a long dark/royal blue dress, and wanted to know what color shawl would be good. (or cover, or blouse, etc..)

I think a pewter ( dark silver ) shoe would look good. For the wrap I think a shawl or scarf that picks up some of the pink/purple tones of the beads would look good. Look at some of the silky scarves that are sold as swim wraps too. Don't give in to the white lacy wrap that girls have been wearing for 50 years (it will cheapen the look of a very pretty dress). Above all have fun and play safe.
