Bathroom decorating advice please ..... I need some help decorating my blue bathroom.?

I have a powder room that I would like to refresh with some new accessories, rugs, and towels. I have a natural color wood floor, brushed metal fixtures, a white sink/toilet, taupe walls, and a countertop that is a mix of medium shades of blues (mainly royal blues). Currently I have dark blue rugs and towels and brushed metal accessories. Im looking to get a softer, more natural look if possible, but I am not good with mixing colors. What color rugs, towels, %26amp; accessories should a get? Changing the countertop is not an option.

Reply:I think it would be fine to go with all neutral colors and let the countertop stand out. Brown, beige or taupe for your towels and a slightly darker shade for the rug. You could perhaps get a few royal blue hand towels to hang for accents, just to bring the whole thing together.

Have fun!
Reply:I would go with red towels to contrast the blue. But be warned they will fade quickly. For the rugs get something practical heavy and non slip. Pure white is not recommended because it will discolor.
Reply:for a more natural look you must turn to earth tones and get away from primary colors. the blue in the countertop is all you need in a space that small. the towels should be either grey or sand---this depends on the shade of taupe you have on the walls (some taupes lean towards grey, others toward brown). The grey color will also compliment some of the lighter blue tones in the countertop. If possible, you should lose the rugs altogether and let the natural beauty of the floor color calm the whole space down. Go with all stainless steel, pewter, or nickel accessories (light switch cover, cabinet hardware, mirror frame, etc.) In this situation, you really need to stay away from red, yellow, green, and any more royal blue.

For your pallette, think grey, slate blue, stainless steel, and warm light brown/taupe.For a little drama, use black, but very sparingly--maybe a picture frame
Reply:Hello dear

I help you in deorate your bathroom with the beautiful images

Whenever we think to design a bathroom, we imagine a limited space in mind. Therefore, light and pale shades are always preferred as these tones give an illusion of large space. These shades can be blended easily with other accessories of bathroom such as bathtub, washbasin etc. If you want to add any potent or strong element of color on one wall, be sure it would open up the space.

Happy New Year !!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Use a shade brown in the same family as the wall color for towels, either a bit lighter or a bit darker. Use a darker shade for the rug. Add a glass (lucite) vase with curley willow stems.
Reply:Any time a bathroom has a lot of blue I think nautical colors are a good way to go. Think rich navy and crisp white with small red accents.

Or you could go beachy, Royal blue with golden sand and natural accents like shells etc.
Reply:You could always go with taupe, ivory or white towels - pretty safe. But to really make a difference, I think I would go for a chocolate brown. Chocolate %26amp; blue are teh hott color combo at the moment. Check it out:
