Touch of the blues?

THE TOUCH OF THE BLUES

It’s a football mad city in that there’s no doubt

And of all Glasgow’s football teams there’s one that stands out

In our red white and blue we “Follow” with pride

The famous Glasgow Rangers from the city’s South Side

In the year eighteen hundred and seventy three

A tradition was born I’m sure you’ll agree

A wee Glasgow Rangers drew its first breath of air

And grew to be a “Giant”, big on style and with flair

Ibrox Park we call home, it’s our cherished place

We all know the feeling of its warming embrace

It’s a sea of blue passion where we laugh and we cry

It’s our royal blue kingdom with our flags flying high

Glasgow Rangers are famous the whole worldwide

Respected all over as a truly great side

But we strive to be better and always be “Ready”

To rise to the challenge, stand tall and be steady

Fans of all ages have their own favourite team

Rangers’ teams past and present have played for our dream

To climb to the top where we rightly belong

To be Simply the Best, like the words of the song

These words have been written for every Rangers fan

Every boy, every girl, every woman, every man

Our love for Glasgow Rangers is a love we’ll never lose

A love that simply blossomed, from the touch of the “Blues”

Touch of the blues?
