Each sachet contained a lemon oil capsule that melted when the mix was heated along with egg yolks, water %26amp; possibly some sugar. Seems to be no longer available, were they bought out by the "Green's" brand, which was nowhere near as nice ? Who was the original manufacturer ?

Reply:Yes, I remember them and they were bloody lovely. They were originally made by Royal and were bought out quite a few years ago now. Greens are the replacement and they still have the lemon capsule although the taste isn't as good but it's better than most lemon meringue mixes.
