Is it appropriate to wear a black faced watch with Khaki pants, or would a blue be more versatile (jeans, etc)

I currently wear a brown alligator strap watch with a white face with my khakis, but don't want to wear it with black shoes, black belt, etc, because it doesn't flow.





I probably wear brown shoes 70% of the time, but need to have something that goes with everything....can i get away with black face? The watch im looking at is also available in a really cool shade of deep royal blue.

The blue sounds cool. You can, and should, mix basic colors. It's too matchy-match if you don't and it looks cheesy. I wouldn't worry about the brown with the white. It will flow, don't worry.
