Reply:there's only one problem......... I REALLY don't like pink, but I had an idea, what about if I do stripes, not straight stripes, squiggly ones that are maroon, light blue, and royal blue. Would that work? Report It

Reply:That's a difficult match; because the colors are on the opposite side of one another, blue is cool and maroon has a depths to it, usually Burgundy, and dark with light blue work well together with maroon. What is needed is to warm the room up some, Therefore you might want to try a very lite pink; almost a pale pink or if you want to keep it cool a very lite blue, and a touch of that color around the room with diff rent accessories.
Reply:But is it Art?
Reply:I would try the very lightest gray's maybe with a lt. pink tint.
Reply:A wheat or oatmeal color, or possibly a darker tan. That would like rather nautical and fresh.
Reply:Complimentary colors of the 2 are blue=orange and marroon=lighter green. Orange will be fine with marron and green will be fine with blue. You also maybe able to use a split painting room with 1 wall the orange and the other 3 green.
Reply:fuchsia
