We're getting engagement pictures soon...what colors could I wear if he goes with a royal blue polo?

Depends on your skin color. Usually you wear something bright or that pops so it stands out in the picture and doesnt wash you out. Brighter colors look better in photos. I would go with a pink that looks good on you. I think pink and blue would go together well. Or if your more of a red person...red looks good in photos and with blue also. d

Red, ice blue or a lighter shade of blue, pink, a print with the royal blue in it, a royal blue undershirt with a different color over shirt, left unbuttoned, tan or khaki, yellow. I'd stay away from white, it is harder to photograph. Best wishes!
Reply:it is easier to recommend that you should not wear, black, dark brown, or white(too washy), otherwise you could wear anything, even a pattern if you like. Don't wear anything too dressy or he will look like a bum. What color looks good on you? Remember this is a photo that will be around for a long time.

Reply:If the photo is for the paper then it will wind up in black and white, in which case it won't matter too much. I would not wear white or cream because you might look washed out. Pink, lavender, yellow would all be okay.
Reply:whatever you do...DO NOT wear royal blue or any shade of blue for that matter. If you don't match exactly it will look a little off not to mention you will blend in together. I would suggest layering. I'd wear a colored tank top (or just another shirt) under a white shirt. This way both of you will stand out equally

For our engagement pictures, he wore a solid green button up shirt and I wore a blouse with a floral print that had white black and the same green from his shirt. Everyone comments on how well we coordinated.
