washing it in cool water "might" help, but there is no guarantee. If it doesn't lighten then I suggest you go find the color of material you really want.
I have a bright royal blue fabric that I need to lighter one or two shades. any suggestions?
Try washing it in water with a tablespoon of bleach.
Make sure that the bleach is well blended or you 'll have spots.
Reply:Wash in very hot water. If it still isn't enough mix a couple teaspoons of bleach into water before you put fabric in and launder.
