What color shoes/accessories would look best with a royal blue dress?

Its a long formal dress. Ive never worn this color so im not quite sure what color accessories to wear...they need to be more conservative colored however since this is for a military ball. Thanks everyone!

OH! I'm all over that! I've attended several military balls and wore royal blue a lot! For jewelry and shoes I'd stick with silver or pearl colors. Actually, I'd go either with matching blue heels or silver heels regardless. Pearls would be classy.

If you do a Google on "Royal Blue Dress" you won't see any other colors for dress wear. The color royal blue, (electric blue) speaks loudly when worn.





To confuse that impact with a conflicting color would detract from the dress.

Reply:Silver is your best bet. If you are afraid of being too flashy- try matte or brushed silver. You can find beautiful silver suede shoes - which won't glow like patent. Just stay away from black or brown.

Reply:gold accesiours would look great if your going to be inside, but if going outside or on a boat, go for silver. If you dont know, go for the gold.
Reply:shoes dyed to match the dress, wear silver or gold jewelry, a long black coat, black kid gloves, a jet beaded evening purse ... a silvery silk scarf would look nice with silver jewelry, a black silk one with gold jewelry

Reply:I wear silver shoes with my blue dress and it looks good. If they need to be more consevative, you may want to find more of a greyish color so they wont shine and bring too much attention.
