What matches royal blue?

I'm thinking of painting my room, but my sofa and my closet is navy blue, and I don't know what colors to match the with? I'm thinking maybe off-white walls?

Reply:royal blue? hmmm... you could do an awesome gray! or taupe maybe... even camel would work. off white would do but you stand the chance of them getting dirty quickly.. hope this helps :)

Reply:Off white would work nicely. Also, yellow is a complimentary color for navy. You can go with many colors to brighten the navy. Even adding some red accents or bringing in a Nautical theme might be nice.

Reply:Hi, OK if you would like white...it should be a cool white...meaning it should have a blue tint to it. There are paints that are tonal whites...they have blue, pink yellow , green Hue's to them They are like the lightest light of those colors. My dining room is painted with the blue tints one and I love it...you will too...blue is such a wonderful color for a room. It calms you and brings peaceful feelings. Think about blue in nature....does the ocean come to your mind? the colors of the sea...sea shells sunshine and sea gulls, light houses and driftwood? Or do you think of a meadow? lush green grass, bright wild flowers in all colors, billowing clouds in an endless sky?
