Great colors! I considered royal blue.
I think it will look fine with black tuxes. Consider a color square to match the dresses.
My bridesmaid dresses are royal blue with an espresso brown sash on them. Will that look bad with black tuxes?
I would do a black sash with the royal blue dresses because I just don't think espresso looks good with royal blue. I think black tuxes with a royal blue dress with a black sash would look really sharp. If you are going to keep the espresso sash, then I would go with espresso tuxes so that everyone blends together. The pictures will look a lot better. It will look like everything was planned out and a lot of work was put into it if the sash of the girl's dress matches or blends with the tux the guys are wearing.
Reply:That will look great with black tuxes. Maybe the guys can wear a vest that will match the blue dresses. If you want to see how it will all look - David's bridal has a wedding party creator. Even if it is a different dress you can see how the colors will look next to each other.
Thinking about it - I don't know if royal blue and brown go very well together. Maybe do black sashes with the girls.
Reply:Black goes with everything, that's why they make black suits.
If the espresso brown sash doesn't look garish on the royal dresses by itself, then it will look fine with the black tuxes. Good luck coordinating the ties, though. You might have to get them custom made, unless your bridal shop sells them along with the dress.
Reply:I am having navy also, and the men are wearing black. Just incorporate the navy and/or brown into their outfit with the tie, flowers, pocket square, etc.
Reply:It will match. If you are really worried about it you could always get black sashes instead of brown.
