I have Royal Blue carpet and a beige couch. I am looking for color ideas for walls/curtains?

You should play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. Based on your description, I suggest a color called "link gray." And then find curtains to match the carpet %26amp; it will all tie together.

Reply:Yellow/Orange is a complementary color to blue. I think that would look nice if you did a stripe design with two shades of yellow (nothing too bright) or combine yellow with blue!?! I would just make sure it's not too similar to the beige in your couch. Check this website for more ideas on color combinations. It should help....

Reply:I would paint the walls a gray color and add window treatments with a combo of gray, beige and midnight blue.
