you have to go to a beauty supply store and get Manic Panic, it is a semi perminant, or if you wanted you could get colored hairspray or colored gel whatever you prefer but if you want to dye it definatly go with manic panic it works really good

What colour dress would you wear with a pair of royal blue satin heels?
Bought the shoes to go with the dress but not sure what colour dress would go with the shoes. The shoes is CL, royal blue and studded with swarovski. Been told red dress or blue. What do you guys think?

What I would suggest is black with a matching cummerbund or suspenders, or even black with a royal blue shirt if your area does not do cummerbunds. With the royal blue shirt, you'd look sharp, be more original, and not detract from her--and bonus points for not wanting all the attention!!!!!
Reply:actually the black and silver is hot... a white tux is ok with a royal blue necktie but then... you'd look like charlie chaplin and trying to pair your partner which makes you look like a ballroom dancing partner in a competition... maybe u can play with the colors... use an all black tux instead and have a royal blue tie with a royal blue nip of hanky on your chest. BUT this is tricky... it's quite hard to pull off two solid colors... you should also be particular on the textiles that all of it compliment each other...

Reply:none of these suggestions fit to what i had in mind. my prom date wore the exact same color to her prom and to compliment her dress she wore a crystal clear kinda royal bluish glass shoe with sparkling stars on it.
having said that i think a crystal-glass-see-through-shoe should do it. try to find one with little stars that sparkle those shoes are so neat. oh and try to find some necklace that matches with your shoe and earrings also. that way you'd be bringing "sexy" back.

I have dark low lights and highlights in my hair, medium skintone, and blue-green-grey eyes.[ with gold around my pupil.]
I usually stick to natural bronze/gold/champagne/greens... I love how they make my eyes look. But I'm not sure itll go with my outfit.
My outfit is black, dark grey, and royal blue accents. Do you have any good eye make up ideas that would look good with those colors? Something fun, shimmery, and makes my eyes pop sounds good.

You see, i am going to a cosplay convention as Edgeworth and My boyfriend is going as Phoenix Wright. As i am a girl, outfits are slightly easier to come by, but i cannot for the life of me find a royal blue suit at a reasonable price.
I have tried ebay, and cheap online shops and they are either too expensive or not right for the job.
I cannot sew so making a suit is out of the question.
Can i dye a suit? Perhaps a grey one?

I have 4 walls that are just plain royal blue.. or like a darkish pure blue? but i'm just wondering what would go well with it because i want to add designs on the wall now. i plan on changing the furniture to a silver or black.. i have silver blinds and my doors / ceiling is white...(feel free to leave ideas for designs)

I know quite a few answers say yellow, but I think I would avoid yellow altogether, try to stay in the cool color palette, since your colors are cool. I think an all white bouquet will get washed out against the silver, and I think red would be bold but too bold for the color scheme.

I am a lifelong BWFC fan and purchased a vintage shirt off eBay. I would love to know when they wore it as I cannot ever remember seeing it. Quite modern in style, it is in royal blue and it has a navy blue collar and two large black and white stripes going from top to bottom. Club crest is embroidered to middle of chest and "BWFC Official Merchandise" plastic tag to middle of back. What eyeshadow is best for a royal blue prom dress?
My prom is this Saturday. I was originally going to go with a light blue eyeshadow with black eyeliner and etc (nice and simple), but I read online that a royal blue dress is best complimented by pink undertones. Anybody have any suggestions?

Gold is absolutely the way to go. I think a smokey eye might be a bit too intense with a navy dress, and with your tan skin, and I'm assuming dark eyes, there are really some ways to make it pop. Go with a shimmery gold on the lower lid, a champagne color above the crease, and a shimmery off white under the brow. what you can do is line is with navy and that would look awesome. use thick coats of dark mascara and you're set.

I have royal blue living room walls w/white trim. Would a brown leather couch and red shag rug clash?
My walls are a royal blue with white trim. We have a light colored hardwood floor and were thinking about getting a dark brown leather sofa with nailhead trim. I am also eyeing a red shag rug to throw into the mix. It's not a bright bright red but not burgundy either. I was thinking about bringing these three colors together but don't know if it will clash. If it doesn't, where would I begin with curtains?? Solids, stripes, dots?? I want long curtains and my husband wants more of a cabin theme but I'm not sure that will work with this color scheme. Any help is appreciated.

Uhm...No think about it like this. you have a brown sheet of construction paper okay? you set a blue one over lapping it. it dosnt make much of a difference. Now picture a black peice overlaping the brown. The darker color brings out the lighter color. So your brown eyes will make the royal blue mascara look brighter, not the other way around.

I have seen 3 different examples on the web. My new employer said that I needed to buy royal blue bottom scrubs. She said that I could get them at Walmart or National Outdoors. I have these royal blue jeans (they are really cute) and these yellow (specifically daisy) pumps. I was planning on wearing a yellow belt and a yellow bracelet. And for my earrings (I have 2 holes), I'm not sure if I should wear blue studs and a yellow hoops, or just wear diamond hoops. IDK.

Hello, for prom my date got a little brighter than royal blue dress. At men's warehouse, they don't have the vest and tie in that color, so the manager recommended me a black tux, a black vest, a black shirt, and a tie that will match her color. I'm really not a fan of any fall colors and we've decided to have an outside wedding the first weekend of October. I love royal blue but my mother and many others keep telling me it's not a fall color. Do you think it would look okay?

What you decide you will have to look at in every photo, if you go with something someone else wants then every time you look at that picture you will look at your husband and say ughh hate that color dress wish we would have done royal blue- :-) So I have been doing wedding flowers for 10 years, I have done many many fall weddings, once I did this wedding with royal and navy blue dresses, all the girls carried were bouquets of silk fall leaves. The colors stood out amazingly against the dresses and were a great and inexpensive way to have color but not be traditional roses and flowers for bouquets. Plus it went with all the decorations I did. Fall leaf garland on the head tables, fall silk leaves sprinkled down the tables with pumpkins for the vases for the flower arrangements. Also keep in mind that there is a royal blue flower that you can get in the fall called delphinium. It is really pretty and something that you don't see every day. Good luck and best wishes.

The reason your mother might think that it wouldnt look good with the fall colors outside is because blue and orange are opposite on the color wheel meaning that when you put them next to each other they can make each other brighter but if you mix the wrong orange and blue it can look like poo. I don't think that the color outside should influence the color of your wedding though! I'm doing purple and it's going to be green outside. Green and purple don't really go together but like anyone is going to put together that the grass is green and my dresses are purple.

Reply:It's an excellent choice! I'm not a fan of pairing it with that colored sash though - use a prettier color as an accent - something like aqua or hot pink, or if you want more muted, go with rose or peach. If peach is an accent color, it's definitely fine for October.

We're redoing our spare bedroom in our local school colors of royal blue and white. I'm trying to find a royal blue comforter with white polka dots. Anyone know where one might be? I've tried the usuals, Target, Wal-Mart, Linens N Things, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, JC Penney, etc.

My bridesmaids (Royal Blue) and groomsmen (gold vest/tie) do not match what should I do?
Our wedding colors are Royal blue, Gold, and Fucshia. I had my heart set on royal blue for the girls, but the tuxedo shop did not have anything remotely close to royal blue, so my fiance ended up ordering gold vests and ties (they had dark pink but he REFUSES to wear pink-ugh). The only thing i can see to do now is to order the blue bridesmaids dresses and maybe find a Gold sash/tie to go around the middle so at least there will be some uniformity. Do the bridesmaids and groomsmen have to wear the same color? If not, won't it look wierd?
Would it be wierd to cancel the gold ties and purchase royal blue ties for the groomsmen to go with their gold vests? Please advise...

As a matter of fact, I think it would look sharp to have the royal blue dresses and have the guys in gold and black. If however you are truly upset by this, then I see no harm in canceling the gold ties and purchasing royal blue to match.

then add a few trailing gold ribbons to your girl's bouquets to match the boys vests! if your girl's hairstyles would allow for it, you could have a gold ribbon in their hair as well. i know adding sashes to gowns seems to be the current trend but unless its done perfectly it looks like an addition! so take care with that idea.

I don't believe that they should be totally co-oridnated, leave the Groomsmen in a simple tux (no colours). The vests may be an over kill, if you want colour on the groomsmen leave it just to the cumberband, and also unite them by the flowers that the bridesmaids will hold, in the lapel button.
